All Houser steering stems are made from 4130-chromoly steel. Our stems are professionally welded together to insure that you have a high quality product that will hold up to the harshest conditions.  We believe in our welded upper portion of our steering stem over the wimpy casting that the competition is trying to make an industry standard.
