N1 shift pattern (neutral-1-2-3-4-5) was designed to prevent false neutrals during aggressive 1-2 upshifts by positioning neutral under 1st. Popular choice for jockey shift/ foot clutch users. N1 drum used in conjunction with an electric shifter makes finding neutral (with the solenoid) seamless and yields a solenoid-actuated shift system that almost makes foot shifting obsolete. For 5-speed transmissions. Made in the U.S.A..
