Black boot uppers are made from PU-coated leather with high suede leather medial panels for superior grip. Brown boot uppers are full-grain oiled leather. Front and rear boot bellows made with lightweight microfiber for increased durability and abrasion resistance. Rear reflective inserts for improved visibility. Extended PU-coated front leather gaiters help keep out water and dirt. Rear gaiters have rubber insert for flexibility and comfort. TPU shins and calf plates offer support and resistance to impacts. Biomechanical lateral flexi-blade boot system provides excellent front and rear movement while offering support and protection to the ankles. TPU shift pad is made with a technical texture for added grip; foam padding on bottom of the shift pad provides better comfort. Wide entry apertures for convenience with hook-and-loop upper closure flaps that allow a wide range of adjustment for an excellent fit. TPU double-density ankle protector on medial sides for protection. Boot closure system includes two polymer ratchet buckles with memory feature and quick-release locking system that is self-aligning for easy, precise closure. All boot buckles are replaceable. Soft foam surrounds the ankles and collars for comfort and shock-absorbing performance. Drystar membrane layer between boot upper linings. Toe boxes and heel counter reinforcements layered under the boot upper. PP insoles with steel shanks are co-injected for excellent feel and safety. Alpinestars exclusive vulcanized rubber compound for optimal comfort and grip. Replaceable anatomical EVA footbed with Lycra lining on top. CE-certified to EN 13634:2010.
