Using a spring that is too heavy or too light from stock, can put excessive shock loads onto the drivetrain, can cause clutch drag when shifting, or. premature wear of components. Heavy duty coil clutch springs are made of heat-treated high carbon steel. Kit includes Carbon Fiber Friction plate set, Steel Drive plates and the Heavy-Duty clutch spring. Plates should be coated with primary oil prior to installation for proper break-in and longevity.
