Harddrive HDC7024 Performance Clutch Friction Kit

Aramid Fiber lined friction plates that improve durability and maintain performance at elevated temperatures. Engineered for longer plate life and higher heat resistance under demanding riding conditions. Provides quicker, more aggressive clutch engagement compared to OEM standard clutches. The heavy-duty clutch spring enhances performance over the OE diaphragm or coil springs, by 15%. This results in multiple springs variances that will maintain the smooth operation the manufacturer intended while gaining a better clutch performance. Using a spring that is too heavy or too light from stock, can put excessive shock loads onto the drivetrain, can cause clutch drag when shifting, or premature wear of components. Heavy duty coil clutch springs are made of heat-treated high carbon steel. Kit includes Aramid Friction plate set with Heavy-Duty clutch spring. Plates should be coated with primary oil before installation to ensure proper break-in and longevity.
