Not only will your passenger have a solid and sturdy platform, they will gain an alternate foot position 4-1/2in. higher and 5-1/2in. farther forward than stock by way of retractable cruise arms.
Replacement for H-D male mount footpeg.

Note: Mounting components sold separately. Installation on Softail models requires passenger mounts shown below. Installation in place of male mount footpeg requires Mfg/N 8883. Boards should not be installed in place of a footpeg on a peg mount secured with a single fastener and no anti-vibration mechanism.
